Irish Hemp Soap is made with hemp powder grown in Ireland. The healing properties of hemp are widely known in the skincare field and we are delighted to have been able to source our hemp locally. The fertile soil of Ireland lends itself to the production of very high quality hemp plants. We have also added organic hemp seed oil to this bar to give it an extra super-charge. Scented with cypress, ylang ylang and cedarwood for an sweet earthy scent that is gentle and calming.
We make our soaps using the traditional cold process method. A blend of olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter provides wonderful skin nourishing. We don’t use palm oil due to it’s environmental impact; instead we favour nourishing butters like cocoa and shea. As a result our soaps are creamy, moisturising and a joy to use. Also, they are rich in glycerin, the moisturizing component of soap that is often lacking in commercial soap.
